    I felt very proud of being a part of the CNHS 1975

    Greetings from Charleston, called the Holy City in South Carolina! I thank and praise our Lord, Jesus Christ, for giving you this divine inspiration and great dedication to a Corporal work of mercy: “Stretch forth your hand to the poor, so that your blessing may be complete.” Sirach 7:32 Your compassion also was reaffirmed by Tobit 12:8: “Prayer is good when accompanied by fasting, almsgiving and righteousness.” Although I’m already a contributor to the works of the Catholic missions around the world, I happy to join your worthy projects for God’s greater honor and glory. As promised I will be mailing soon my first
    contribution for your Christmas offerings for the poorest of the poor. May God bless you and your colleagues now and forever more. In Mary’s service, Dolly & Fred’s “spirit”

    Here are some of the comments we got from our first batch of Padyak recipients:

    * From PERLITA SALAZAR

    ” Maganda ang inyong proyekto. Malaking kagaangan and magkakaroon kami ng sarili naming padyak. Kami ng aking buong pamilya ay taos pusong nagpapasalamat sa inyong lahat na nasa likod ng proyektong ito…. mga nasa U.S.A. at Philippine CNHS 1975 Foundation. Alam ko na marami pa kayong matutulungan sa mga darating na panahon. Maraming salamat din po sa scholarship na ipinagkaloob ninyo sa anak kong si Alpe Dela Rea. Kahit one year ay nabahaginan ninyo kami . Graduating sa siya this year. Salamat po sa lahat ng tulong ninyo na ipinagkaloob sa ating mga ka-batch. Kami po ay lagi ninyong binibigyan ang mga biyayang galing sa langit. Dalangin ko na mas marami pang mga blessing ang dumating sa inyong lahat. More power to all of you and may God bless you all.”

    * From LEONARDO “NARD” SANCHEZ

    ” Ito’y malaking tulong sa aming mahihirap hindi na kami maghahabol o’matataranta sa pagkumpleto ng boundery. Ang proyektong Pakyak ay isang malaking kaginhawaan sa amin. Nagkaroon kami ng oras para makapagpahinga sa tamang oras. Maraming salamat sa inyo. Namaw’y pagpalain kayo ng ating Panginoon na si Hesus. Mabuhay ang CNHS Class 1975!”

    * From ESTELITA TOLENTINO

    ” Maganda. Pang dagdag gastos na rin. Malaking tulong na rin ang maibibigay nitong Pedicab. Maraming Salamat.”

    * From ISAIAS TABOSO

    ” Malaking tulong sa aking pamilya.”

    * From ARMIN GONZALEZ JR.

    ” Malaking tulong para sa amin. Dahil pamasada ang gamit ko at ito ang pinagkukunan ko ng pangastos ko sa pang araw-araw.”

    I immigrated to the U.S. in January 1981 through the U.S. Navy in Subic after graduating from UP Diliman. I lived in San Diego from 1981 until 2003, when my family moved to Atlanta, Georgia because of work.
